Corona Del Mar Beach Bungalow
The first floor of this home sits square to the frontage of the property to maximize setbacks, but the second story sits at a twenty two and a half degree angle to capture the sweeping ocean views, creating interesting interior ceiling treatments and clerestory window systems. Sustainable wood siding and a color palette that evokes the sense of sand and driftwood were used to capture the contemporary beach style of the neighborhood. Zero landscape design was used to minimize water usage and deep overhangs designed for maximum solar control add depth and interest to the exterior of the home.
